Over the years, A. Garcia Brufau following new trends and commercial uses, opted for upholstery which was growing strongly in the market, at the same time saddlery was stagnating (illustrious and almost extinct activity at present).

At that time, there were a whole host of opportunities for traditional upholstery, emerging markets were also interested in new products related to upholstery.

Then, leather, skai and plastics industries began (tents, tarpaulins,...) and Antoni Brufau Garcia adapted himself easily and quickly to new market demands.

In the 70s, foam and mattress commercial market emerged strongly and the Garcia Brufau Company also used this new niche to establish themselves as local reference.

Since the mid-80s until today, A. Garcia Brufau has also been the official distributor of Pikolin and trademarks related to their geographic area, in addition to providing a multitude of offers related to rest equipment.

In 1992, the Garcia Brufau Company initiated a process of expansion after opening new branch-offices in Girona (Vilablareix), Tarragona (Reus), Barcelona (Manresa) and a second in Lleida: Plāstics i Tapisseries Ter, Plāstics i Tapisseries Lerman, Plāstics Gaudí and CONPLAS Comfort y Plástico, respectively.
